CHILDREN & YOUTH
Adult Education
Spiritual Nurture and Education for adults includes Scripture Play which provides an opportunity for participants to consider the Scripture that is read at the morning service and used as a test for the Pastor's sermon. The style is participatory and each Sunday in a unit unto itself. The choir is invited to participate after they are finished with the first service in the sanctuary.
Youth (6th - 12th grade)
When a 6th-12th grade youth walks through our doors, they know they're on friendly turf. Our Year-round youth program is designed for all youth, including members and friends.
Children (1st - 5th grade)
Church school for children in grades K-5 is taught by paid, certified teachers. Curriculum is carefully chosen to reflect the need and abilities of the children. A highlight is Chapel worship. Children in K-5 also can participate in the Celebration Choir, led by Becky Lloyd and Barbara Meyer.
Infants / Preschool
Preschool Children can learn early how to enjoy church on Sunday mornings, with classes taught by parent volunteers for ages 2-4. Our 3 and 4 year old children sing in the Cherub Choir during church school. Nursery care and toddler care are always available Sunday morning and during major events.
Weekday Preschool and Mother's Day Out
The Rolling Hills Preschool and Mother's Day Out (MDO) exists to provide the children and families of the community with a school readiness program in a safe and secure environment that encourages children to grow and develop physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. We believe each child has a wonderful ability to love, laugh and learn.
